8 roofing contractors in Saint Augustine, Florida have held a state licence for twenty years or more. Licence age is a record of how long the state has licensed the contractor - it is not a rating, a review, or a guarantee of workmanship. Check the licence number and the discipline record on each listing, and get more than one written quote.
Not by itself. It means the contractor has held a Florida state licence continuously for at least twenty years, which shows they have stayed licensed and insured through several hurricane seasons and licence renewals. It says nothing about the quality of any individual job. 8 contractors in Saint Augustine meet the twenty-year mark; compare their licence class and discipline record, and always get written quotes.
